As the founder and CEO of Amazing Traveling Sitters LLC, Event Sitter Services, I wanted to create something beyond babysitting during weddings, and special events. My goal is to offer sitter services on the premises or in close proximity to parents & our adult clients. Our clients should be allowed to enjoy a child-free event, such as a beautiful wedding/reception, special event, corporate party, religious services, family reunion, law-enforcement / military function or even an adult party without being stressed about who’s going to watch the children. Will they just babysit or will they offer hands-on play experiences? Will my children be safe? Is the #1 one question!
Our goal is to provide sitter services that will offer fun & exciting activities, enhance character, self-esteem, self-confidence and team building skills for young children. Children are unique, resilient individuals who can learn in many different ways. Therefore providing activities and skills which will assist children in regulating feelings and emotions, will also be useful in a school or camp setting. Most importantly, we will provide positive guidance to help children get along with peers & others. ATS will provide services where children are safe, given the best care, and the ability to be active through hands-on discovery, and child friendly activities. Last but not least, with our child friendly equipment, and materials, children will have the opportunity to be active, explore through a positive nurturing environment in addition to creating many of their favorite projects.
With the help of my amazing professional team who are also passionate about creating amazing play experiences, we are optimistic that every child attending one of our amazing events will enjoy our play experiences, and share all the excitement with family and friends. In addition to all the fun, we want to offer a service where children can come to a familiar place with the entire family or just a short distance from their families. While our adult clients are busy enjoying themselves at their event, our children are also being cared for and enjoying themselves with Amazing Traveling Sitters! Stress off our clients, fun for the kids and convenient for everyone! Last but not least, a service where children can be safe, be themselves, build self-esteem & self-confidence, while creating healthy relationships with peers and others.
Trust is earned and not given! We are Moms too! Therefore we truly understand the feelings of anxiety some parents may experience while dropping their children off with individuals other than family. Most importantly, with the use of “Best Practices” communication with parents, building healthy connections and long term relationships with our clients is our main priority! Amazing Traveling Sitters have incorporated The KidCheck software which will allow parents to use their mobile devices to check their children in and out. In addition to specific individuals allowed for pick up.
KidCheck is also an amazing app to check on your children in addition to sending and receiving messages to and from one of our amazing sitters in charge. Please visit Go.KidCheck.com (Go.KidCheck.com) for more details. In addition to our new KidCheck app, ATS offers our very own, “Amazing Kid Safety” Program. As part of the hiring process, every sitter undergoes an extensive application process. We are committed to offering the best sitters around, and this is why ATS will thoroughly screen and conduct criminal background checks, provide our very own training on safety and childcare, check references as far back as 10 years and require certifications in CPR/First-Aid. In addition to our extensive hiring process, once an employee of ATS, staff are to undergo our yearly mandatory ATS safety training program to remain as an employee.
ATS is also legally registered and licensed through the state of North Carolina. We are a (LLC) legal liability company recognized through the state of North Carolina. We are committed to providing full legal insurance in case an incident occurs with one of our staff members or any children attending one of our amazing events. ATS, also provides a required allergy form in our KidCheck app for our children with allergies and special accommodations. ATS provides this information through our user-friendly website. We will also provide pictures to parents and post pictures of the children involved and engaged in many of our wonderful activities and events. Therefore, respecting the privacy of our children while taking photos, a photo release form is required giving ATS permission to post pictures publicly on our websites or any of our social media accounts. Pictures are not used for model or commercial purposes, however for our website, and social media purposes only!
For all and any public events, pictures will be taken for reasons listed above. Parents are encouraged to inform us if their children are prohibited from being photographed. However if parents decline pictures posted on our site or any social media page after an event, please notify us through our contact number or email and one of our administrators will remove the pictures as soon as possible. In addition to the legality of the company, we are committed to keeping our children safe. Cleaning and sanitizing all equipment, materials and toys, in addition to teaching and encouraging our children the importance of handwashing, which will limit the exposure to germs.
Although we travel to meet the needs of our clients, we are currently located in North Carolina. All of our services are conveniently provided on your premises, hotel, school, event, religious organization or venue. If you are having an event at a hotel, religious organization, business, or school we highly recommend you reserve a conference room or space specifically for ATS to use for the children.
Clients must book a consultation and safety assessment before booking an event with ATS. The safety assessment consists of a completed checklist, pictures and videos of the space of the area for the kids, operating toilets and sinks in addition to (2) safety exits and fire alarms. The consultation fee is $150.00 and for expedited services, the consultation fee is $300.00 both are non-refundable.
All fees and balances are to be paid by debit/credit card, certified check, money order or Zelle, Apple-Pay, and Cash App only! ATS will not conduct a site visit until the consultation fee is paid in full. The site visit is conducted to ensure the safety of the children and our staff. ATS does not provide a specific location, We Bring the Amazing Experience To You! ATS will provide virtual assessments for out of state venues exceeding over 100 miles.
Yes, ATS can accommodate small, large, private families, corporations, non-profits, schools, camps, festivals/ convention events and more. In addition, we can also assist with children's birthday parties. ATS can also accommodate 50 plus kids. Please call 60 days in advance for large groups and out of state events. Expedited fees will occur for services needed on a last minute or emergency basis. ATS will not provide expedited services for out of state events. Please review our out of state rates.
We encourage parents to attend their special events while we keep the little ones safe and busy. However, all staff, volunteers, and parents are required to undergo a criminal background check to be in attendance with the children. As long as we have a current criminal background check, parents are welcome to join. Please reserve 60 days in advance to complete a criminal background check. ATS must have background check results and on file before volunteers and parents are allowed to attend or enter the areas where children are stationed.
Due to guarantee bookings, reservations and secured events, unfortunately ATS does not provide refunds. The only fee that will be refunded after the event is over is the $350.00 security deposit, due at booking. As long as there are no last minute fees attached, deposits will be refunded 3-5 business days. The security deposit is used to cover last minute arrangements, additional children, early care and late fees. ( If children are dropped off early or picked up late) To prevent the use of your security deposit, it is imperative that children are ONLY dropped off and picked up according to the times on your signed contract. Please read your contract thoroughly before signing.
ATS cannot stress the importance of providing an accurate head count as we will not refund if your head count. ATS will not turn children away. Instead, we will use funds from your security deposit if additional children are added during an event to make sure all children are cared for. If additional children are added during an event, and the client has exceeded the use of their security deposit, payment for additional children must be paid before entry. The amount placed on your invoice & contract is the amount which will be due and must be paid. Inaccurate head counts can cause added fees. This is why ATS stresses the importance for our clients to have an accurate head count.
The security deposit will be used if clients send children to the play areas before your signed contract times. Security deposits will also be used for additional children registered during an event, who were not counted in the initial contract. If the amount of additional children, early care and late fees exceeds the amount of the security deposit, balances must be paid on the spot before children are allowed to enter the play areas. Balances can be paid on the spot through debit/credit card, Cash App or Zelle. Last minute balances cannot be paid through a third party payment, cash or checks.
Seldom will ATS have to cancel an event, however if needed in case of an emergency or inclement weather, we will refund the total amount of the initial deposit minus the consultation fee. Consultation fees are non-refundable. Our goal is to arrive at your event as safe and as scheduled. We are committed to doing our best! Clients have within 7 days after booking to cancel an event to receive a full refund of their initial deposit. ATS will charge the total amount of the initial deposit if booking is cancelled after 7 days. Our goal is to strive for excellence, be prepared for your event and make sure we are secured with our amazing sitters.
Preparation, special arrangements/accommodations and to provide the best sitters on our team is our goal and mission. We take pride in all we do for our clients. Therefore no-refunds are part of ATS policy once booked, and paid in full. ATS will not issue any refunds once your event is paid in full. ATS encourages our clients to move forward with your event once we are paid in full and prepared to arrive at your venue. For any reasons out of your control where you had to cancel your event, ATS will work expeditiously with your event specialist to re-arrange a different date and time. Location of your venue is key. Therefore please make sure it passes our safety guidelines. *There are absolutely no refunds on expedited fees unless we cancel!

To protect the health and safety of our children and staff, all ill children must remain at home. If your child displays any signs of illness parents will be called for immediate pick-up. If your child is showing any signs of illness, please conduct a temperature check before arrival. It’s important to make sure your child is well enough to attend one of our amazing events.
There is no specific attire to attend one of our amazing events. However we recommend children arrive in comfortable clothing ready to have a blast! ATS recommends tennis or closed toe shoes only! Please do not allow children to wear fancy jewelry, or toys brought from home. ATS will not be responsible for cell phones or valuable items brought from home. We are committed to providing everything the children need while attending our event sitter services. We encourage our parents to keep cellphones home. Children will not be allowed to use them during an event or any school out drop in care event.
Yes! Safety for each child attending one of our amazing events is our #1 priority! KidCheck is an user-friendly, easy, fast, secure children’s check-in software system we use to check our children in/out. The software is also used to obtain important medical information, such as allergies and special accommodations in addition to communication with parents.
We use KidCheck to make sure all children are safely checked in and out by the individuals listed on the parents KidCheck account. In addition to checking children in and out parents can provide information on allergies and special accommodations. In addition to KidCheck, staff are trained to perform hourly name-face attendance checks. ATS also provides low child ratios, per staff per age group. Our amazing staff are carefully selected, required to undergo an extensive criminal background checks and trained on our Amazing Kid Safety Program. By following best practices and understanding the importance of keeping our children safe, ATS also provides an on-site first aid kit, incident reports form, name to face reports, EpiPen permission slips in case of allergic reactions. Clients must provide medical documentation from a licensed physician for ATS to distribute an EpiPen if needed. Amazing Traveling Sitters ultimate goal is to provide Excellence! We want to be transparent with our policies with every client. Our children and their safety is our #1 priority, providing great service and satisfaction is our main priority! We are committed to providing excellence! Contact one of our friendly associates for a brief description of what type of service you may need. Pay the consultation fee of $150.00 for ATS to come out perform a safety assessment and discuss the needs of your event.
Upon approval of the safety assessment, provide all detail information on your booking form. Please be as detail and accurate as possible. After thoroughly reading the FAQ’s page, complete & submit the booking information, and pay the $350.00 deposit. ATS will send an invoice and contract for all parties to sign. Once you have completed all initial steps, reviewed the invoice and signed the contract, you are ready to make your payment. After making your deposit payment, signed the invoice and contract, you are booked and confirmed with Amazing Traveling Sitters!
The full payment or any balances can be paid in advance or 15 days before your event for events booked 30 days in advance. For events booked 60 days in advance, full payment must be received within 45 days before the event. For example if you book an event on January 1, and the event is not until March 1st, full payment must be paid 45 days before March 1st which will be around February 15. Remember, there are no refunds so please make sure all payments are paid in full on time. ATS has the right to cancel any events due to breach of our business contract.
ATS is committed in assisting our clients with their special events. It’s what we love to do! Although time can be challenging during an emergency or expedited booking, ATS believes in being prompt, kind and courteous. Our goal is to provide excellence. Therefore our professional team will arrive one hour before to set up, and equal time for clean up. Please make sure our team has access to the areas where the kids will be. ATS will complete all clean up, in the area the children are stationed and where the event will take place. We will also remove all garbage and trash from the area we use. Please inform our friendly staff of the trash cans, and dumpsters locations. The clean-up service is included in your consultation fee.
ATS accepts Visa/Master, Debit/Credit transactions, Apple Pay, Zelle, Cash App, and Certified Checks from your bank. Unfortunately we do not accept cash, personal checks, transactions made through a third party, or transactions in pending status. Company checks are accepted 15 days before your event. If you are using a company check we must receive an official company check with the business information printed on the check 15 days prior to your event. Checks not approved or cleared will automatically cancel an event with no refunds on bookings or deposits.
To keep your booking event date, please pay the full balance using a convenient method of payment as in Zelle, Apple-Pay, Cash App in full as soon as possible, or within 7 days due to insufficient funds. Returned checks will be charged a $50.00 returned check fee. If balances are not paid in full within 7 days of the event, unfortunately ATS will not be able to honor your event. ATS will continue with the scheduled event as long as we are paid with another form of payment in full within the 7 days prior to your event. This schedule is only for insufficient funds or bounced checks. Any payments made by a company with insufficient funds will be declined for future payments. Clients will need to use other forms of payment.
The event sitter services will take place at your private home, facility, business, religious organization or event venue. If services are provided in a private home, for the safety of our staff, ATS will require a photo valid driver’s license and/or ID to pre-screen all clients.
ATS has something for everyone! ATS will provide event and group sitter services for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. For private or group care, at your residence a minimum of 4 hours or more is required. This package is great for moms who are having Mommy’s or Dads Night out with siblings and friends or if you are seeking private sitter services.
To offer a better rate and save, parents can group the kids together at one location. This makes drop off and pick up convenient for everyone!
Ratios: We are committed to providing quality care for our children. Many times, this consists of more staff to the amount of children. Therefore, due to adequate supervision and support, ATS provides the lowest staff/child ratios. For example our ratios are as follows: under 3, 4:1, 3-5 10:1, 6-12 15:1.
ATS does not provide baby formula, diapers or wipes. Due to some children with allergies, parents are responsible to provide all necessities needed for your infant/toddler. All children items must be labeled and dated. Breast milk must be color coded, labeled, and kept separate from baby formula. Labels must include the child's name, date and if it’s breast milk or baby formula. ATS will assist in color coded labels. Parents can download an infant feeding plan pertaining to your baby and bring it upon drop off or just leave it for the sitter to view upon arrival. Since ATS is committed to providing the best care and staff for our children, ATS charges a different rate for children under 3, as our infant/toddler sitters are paid a higher rate.
ATS reservations fill up quickly, especially on weekends and holidays. Based on availability, last minute events may be declined. Please contact one of our associates for expedited events or emergency sitter services. Please reserve at least 30-60 days in advance for all events. For weddings, please reserve as soon as you are aware of your wedding date. Expedite fees of $300.00 are charged for expedited consultations. Expedite services are services needed within 2 weeks, few days or emergency childcare. ATS does not accommodate out of state expedited or emergency care. For our out of state clients please book 30-60 days in advance.
Our clients can book for as many hours needed for your event. However a 4 hour minimum is needed to book for an event. Therefore all event reservations must be booked for at least 4 hours minimum. Private sitter hours must be reserved for at least 4 hours minimum with a group of at least 4 children. ATS will not accept event bookings under 4 hours unless it’s for one of our Amazing Birthday Party Packages.
Yes! Our busiest times are holiday parties and events. Please book at least 60 days in advance. Additional fees for holiday and emergency services. We honor, and value the people who protect and serve our country. We are committed to offering an amazing discounted package for our military/law enforcement families. Call to speak to one of our friendly associates for details.
ATS does not have a maximum group size. What our clients need is what we will provide! We are able to accommodate 50 plus children. Please book 60 days in advance for large groups.
Yes! If you need ATS for multiple days or even a week for a family getaway, wedding, meeting, party or vacation, we will provide it. We asked that we are given at least a 60 day notice to schedule for multiple day events. For example: if you need our services for Saturday and Sunday, you will book for Saturday and Sunday and only pay for the hours needed with the kids. Additional fees for out of state event services.
Although providing meals at our amazing events is at the core of our mission, unfortunately ATS does not currently provide meals. ATS does provide snacks in our event packages as well as food prepared in our Amazing Chef package, free of charge. During our School Closing Events, we will provide a pizza party free of charge. In the near future we plan to collaborate with other vendors to cater meals for our children and amazing staff. Clients are welcome to provide a brown bag lunch for each child or contact a catering service to have food delivered to the premises of the event. We will work closely with your wedding/event host for food options.

Yes! ATS follows Charlotte Meck School district calendar. Our school closing days fill up fast, therefore parents are encouraged to register early in advance through our go.KidCheck.com.(http://go.KidCheck.com) ATS will provide temporary childcare to school-age children while schools are closed. Parents are responsible for full payment in advance before your child can attend. Locations will be at one of our Huntersville sites. Please view our website under services or contact one of our friendly associates for information and locations.
Please thoroughly read through our FAQ’s for more information including our sick and cellphone policy. There is an initial yearly registration fee of $25.00 in addition to $125.00 for the week of April 6-10, 2026. The total fee for early registration Spring Break 2026 is $125.00 per child. Price after March 1, 2026 is $150.00 per child. All fees must be paid in advance before the child can attend. Parents must send their child a lunchbox or a brown bag lunch. Glass or seafood is not permitted on the premises.
To prevent fatigue, Reading Tutors offers 1 hour sessions only. Tutoring fees for the school year 2026 are $25.00 per hour for 6 weeks. All 6 weeks must be paid in advance before tutoring starts. Although ATS recommends 6-12 weeks of tutoring, some children may require more based on academic performance.
Clients may choose to renew services or cancel after 6 weeks. Six weeks or more are recommended for academic progress. If ATS finds that your child is severely struggling, we will conduct a meeting with parents and refer for other academic support services.
